Common Head Works for the Lift Irrigation Scheme under the Upper Krishna Project

This project involved construction of the head works on the offshore of Almatti Dam in Bijapur District, Karnataka. MCC built the intake channel, jack-well and pump house for 12 x 2000 hp pumps. The pumps lift 53 cu.mecs. of water to a head of 32m.
